Bailsco manufactures a complete line of cast aluminum v-belt sheaves. Sheave pitch diameters range from 3.4” up to 50” with both “B” and “V” type grooves. Our sheaves are very affective in aggressive atmospheres and when weight reduction is required. With sheaves in the field for over twenty years, Bailsco sheaves have a proven track record. Since Bailsco is an integrated facility, the sheave design, mold manufacturing, casting, machining, and balancing are all done “in-house”. Using finite element analysis techniques, the sheave design has been studied to reduce weight and improve the design prior to producing the patterns.
